Whenever I read posts like these I remind myself that for every dickhead there are dozens of good folk.
Some people will go to extremes to avoid putting in the hard yards, I try to educate the really stupid ones but but I don't think it gets through. I may need to educate them harder.

Bugger! And yep its getting worse every season, I cant help but blame some of the influx and related problems on these reality prospecting shows.
Incidentally, I was speaking to one of the guys off this season show the other day and he caught three people camped and detecting on his mining lease last week.
When questioned they swore black and blue they had permission and a 40E

Yeah... not sure how to take that comment? We try to do our best. I know that there is a LOT less bickering and annimosity than on other forums. It might seem strict but we believe it keeps things civil. Peace.

Hey Bud, I read my post in the morning after it had been posted the night before, and it hadn't been edited, and I seemingly wasn't banned yet, so I was amazed, and thought....'do I feel any differant....?'
And I didnt!!! And in all seriousness, this isnt a kids show, so I thought...'hmm let my thoughts ride...'
During the day, in my real job, I did think, hmm I've put you mods under a bit of pressure, so was quite prepared for the outcome, but you edited my language out!!!@#$!

Let me tell Y'all, when you meet me, that is what you get! warts 'n'all, black, white or brindle!! A few members here will tell ya that I have a gorgeous head for Radio..

So Yeah, cranky with people that steal shit, that have no respect, that dont care for each other, or rules and dont GAF for those that come after, people in authority behind desks in Melbourne (or dubai..?) that say I cant use the water in the dam I built... unless I pay.... they would never have appreciated a dam and its life saving qualities... NFI....

Going to court again pissed me off, there is no reason to waste the courts time, but we have to, 'coz some changed department says so...
Still got nowhere, but more money.... I have to pay...

And yet people say, yeah man, got an ounce or two from the palmer the other weekend.... its so cool up there eh bro....

I'm starting to sound like that Preacher on that wedding the other day... (Elton john is messaging me now on Face book saying STFU..)

Hi all Just my two bobs worth ,You dont have to go to the bush to see how society is going just walk down the street there is no respect for anyone or anything ,I am an old prick of 68 and I have lost count of the amount of time I have said to young guys and girls to curb the swearing as there are ladies about, most times I get a sorry but have had a couple of guys try to front me and unfortunately I am and always have been the kind of bloke that wont back off if confronted also 49 years experience in martial arts helps, had a guy tell me its none of my business and to go F### myself so after I had escorted him to the car park he said he was sorry and left abit red faced lol,
a friend of mine who is a copper said they think and do whatever they want and know if they get charged they get a smack on the hand and told not to do it again, If they Knock something off well who cares the owner can buy another one,I must be getting old as in my day you never steel from your own Kind and for sure never steel a mans tools you are steeling his way to make a living, Jezz sound like my dad lol .

Unfortunately Time has changed and will continue to change.Young people are growing up in a very different environment than they did 50 40 30 20 yrs ago. :brokenh: :brokenh:

We think a lot alike Pete, must be the age thing. I have no problems explaining the meaning of manners to the uneducated.
 
Reading through this post I just cannot even fathom what
society is coming too.
Yes, I have my fair share of dealing with low lifers but,
Why do people have to do things like they do out Mad Tuna's way. ????
Come on. Turning up and just being a plain tool, Pinching and destroying things,
What is it going to take to stop this from happening. ?
I would be so happy to have the privilege of being allowed into some ones back yard
like that.
And then there is the respect to both the land and the people.

I think thats what a lot of them need a gob smacking lol but then your in the wrong because they had a hard life and were disadvantaged a children somebody took the dummy as a kid ,what a load of BS I grew up in the slums area of Birmingham UK had nothing work in markets when I was 9 and earned money now they have everything given to them and say their hard done by because they have to get out of bed before 12 oclock ,send them to Madtunes place for a couple of months and see what real work is like .PP

Haha maybe some mate..go and work in a crisis centre where a lot were raped as children ..And drug addicts as parents and left to fend for themselfes from 3 4 5 yrs old .ect ect ect...You would understand why some dont have olschool discipline.No talking about growing up tough..that's is the case for some.But not for a lot.So the next time you feel the need to teach some oldschool discipline on a kid for swearing may be think of the bigger picture. :Y:
 
an As#### is an AS##### there is no excuse in my book .Sure some kids were abused but it dos not give them the right to do and say what ever they fell like, grow up and stop the poor me and do something with what ever you have .PP
 
My parents own a grog shop and this is just one example of rudeness. Youngish 20 something customer walks up to the counter and lets rip with a big burp while my mum was serving him, mum lets rip with a slap across the face and says "didn't your parents teach you any f'ing manners", young bloke didn't know what hit him, was very apologetic too and maybe would think twice before doing it again. :D

Oh yeah, I remember when I had my red P plates which was around 32 years of age (always had a bike license though) a green P plater cut me off and ripped on his handbrake in front of me and I hit his rear end, he flung his door open and stomped up to me while ripping his shirt off ready for a punch up..... I casually get out of my car and being a full foot taller than this idiot kid started telling him that he was about to meet his maker.... I almost felt sorry for the little moron when he started crying and telling me what a bad day he had endured. Anyway I just had a good laugh at him and called him a sook, was a good lesson for him I think.

No respect anymore at all, I think you can generally usually tell the true kids who have had it tough and seperate them from the over-entitled tossers who think they have had it tough.

Bring back the cane I reckon and let em have it good and proper.
