Nugget cache here found by the first person to own a Minelab detector in Brazil. After becoming the first Minelab distributor in Brazil, hunting nuggets for many years. He found the cache using his old discriminating detector.

That’s the way to find ‘em.... all jarred up :p
How pure is that South American gold ? Looks a lot different to good old Aussie yella.
I think Brazil gold is good yellow. The moment Don saw what he had, sat down and could not stand up for a while. Enough gold to make a person faint or pass out. It might be a photo before a better cleaning up.

Like anywhere else gold probably varies from one location to the next. Garret used gold from Don's area in Brazil once for a magazine ad. Then Don helped a new Garrett dealer in Brazil get things set up at a ranch for Garrett to make a video. Garrett canceled out last moment because security detectors at the Olympics down there got first priority. Since then military police have been pulling vehicles over confiscating gold detectors. It's real bad now because of all the fires started to clear brush away in gold prospecting areas.

Fires, sounds a bit like Nullagine in the 80's when prospectors burnt the spinifex.

Prospectors would blame the ranchers then ranchers blame gold prospectors. This went on for several years, now people are getting arrested and thrown in jail. Most being arrested this year probably never started a fire.

Sounds like 2022 in halls creek where a few from Victoria were caught lighting fires in spinifex areas and poaching. The gold police and mines department are very active up there lately.
I have friends up there who said in the 25 years they’ve had thier miners right this was the first time they’ve ever been asked to produce thier licenses or show thier 40e.

I can remember seeing those fires in the news. Seems it was really bad this time. Australia has a number of rare exotic animals some places.
