Nsw detecting

Hi guys n gals
Need some help please
Am in northern nsw detecting , every rock i come accross screems. I have done iron check but not iron I even ground balance on the rocks and it still goes off. Could some one shed some light on this matter plz. I am used to detecting in the pilabra west oz and have no probs there and have found some small nuggets. Thankz

Is it all rock or just one type ? Like basalt.

Sounds to me like you've found a basalt hotspot. I now of a few small creeks/gullies in NSW absolutely rotten with the stuff - drive ya mad. It is manageable in places but there are those that I now avoid.

yeah these rocks are real hard and hard to crush by hand ,
does any one know where to have a detect in northern nsw,
or do i need to pan some creeks?
i have gold fever bad
maybe if i hadnt found gold in the pilabra i wouldnt have got the fever so bad lol
im in and around kyogle for 6 weeks

You could do some research on Drake Nsw its only about 100km from Kyogle
