Newbie from NSW

Hi all!

My grandad was an avid fossicker and he had an amazing collection of gems and quartz, inspired by this I’m on the hunt for gold!

Love being outdoors and camping is become a new hobby.

I headed up to Hill End and ended up so confused I left!

Looking for new friends and fossicking buddies, have 4wd, camper and hema hx2 will travel!

Any help tips tricks etc would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for this! I should have been clearer, I was confused by the vague maps! I didn’t know if where I was, was legal or not or whatever you know!

I spent a fair bit of time looking at minview when I got back and just wondering if I could download the overlays or something to cross reference with my hema.

Hasn’t put me off it tho thinking about going again, just maybe a different region like Oberon.
