So today instead of parking my ass on the couch and having my brain fry, i thought i would head out with the GM 1000 that i bought secondhand only two days ago. I only had a little over an hour to spend due to appointments this afternoon but i was really keen to test out the unit and to start tuning my ear into the sounds. So i couldnt go far from my base in Kilmore and thought i would trek to Heathcote.
It was great to be out in the bush. Didnt find anything but really got an understanding of how hot rocks can give off the signals.
Looking forward to hitting somewhere else on the weekend.
