Great ideas, while your at it, it would be nice to have some topics separated into there own area, for example "Gold Detecting Show n Tell" could be made into a separate section so that its not all lumped into 1 topic.

Gold Prospecting > Metal Detecting for Gold > Show n Tell > topic xxxxx

Okey, There's now "Gold localities & information" forum under "Gold Prospecting" and "Gem/Minerals/Fossils localities & info" forum under "Gemstones, Minerals & Fossils".

Both forums have stickied threads for each state to share information in those states.

These forums are visible only to members.

Let me know what you think.

However the new title in my opinion needs to be
Changed. Currently its Gold localities and information.

This to me gives me the perception to Add locations
Of Gold finds. A member has already complained and
The posts were removed.

Maybe it needs to be changed to something like
"State by State Information" then have the
States as they are listed. People then can add
Places where they can camp and stay, places where
to Eat ouy or where maybe bans are in Place, with
miners right links, regulations, places to shower, road
closures and so on.

Two other things which are suggestions which might
Help.

Are these better placed under General so it covers all
Forms of fossicking and prospecting?

And would'nt a separate forum for each state rather a
pinned post be Better so if someone wants to post some
info that is State related its done under the relevant
state instead of being posted under the state By state
pinned posts?

I can see this coming in real handy for forum members.
As an example If you are visiting NSW for example a visit
in the nsw Related forum can provide you member related
Feedback on a range of stuff.
