Hi all been doing a few jobs in lancefield Vic and was wondering if anyone knows of crystals or gold found in the creeks ? Not really interested in the gold too much more interested in crystals and other minerals. I Have done research on the area but only can find fossils large one's witch is interesting chert gold dolomite and maganese deposits anyone know what else you can find ? Any Smokey quartz or tourmaline in the granite at cobar ? Don't want your exact honey pot spots but if you can share what you have found in the area that would be fantastic.

I was given a Collection of quartz crystals by an old fella. He stated that one of his favorite spots was around a quarry north of Lancefield.
