High Creek Water Levels

Hi all,

Does anyone have any advice if its a good idea to prospect after high water?

I tried when the water went down a bit but struggled, do I assume the gold gets chucked everywhere and its tricky to read, or is it a good time due to fresh deposits moving around and getting jammed in cracks? As the water is flowing a lot faster, does this mean the gold will not drop in the normal places.

Any information is welcome.

I would wait till the water level drops as the gold will be the first element to settle in the stream. May do a bit of fishing till the level drops.
