Hi peeps

I joined here through a reference from a fellow detector buddy....
I pickup my Garrett Axiom tomorrow...really looking forward to that...
Then organising a trip somewhere to find my first piece of the yellow stuff...
Any recommendations would be great...I live in Maitland NSW...
Great to be part of this community...hope to see a few of you around the traps..

Closest gold areas would likely be Nundle or the Central West (Hargraves, Hill End, Windeyer, Sofala etc.) from Maitland.
The Garrett Axiom certainly looks to be a good machine. Would love to check one out myself.
