My names Andrew, im from Melbourne and im new to this hobbie, i should receive my gear and detector by the end of the week, and cant wait to see what i can dig up. Im planning on going for my first hunt in Creswick sometime (after ive playing around with it for abit in the garden and lern the depths it can sense and sounds ect)
anyone from Ballarat are who can recommend locations, or meet me there to show me the ropes?, i ask cos i dont really know anyone who is into this hobbie. im thinking of going to Creswick state forrest off king street (frenchmens gully) theres a creek there where i can learn to do some panning too.
