Wow amazing, anyone bought the Gpx main units from them? and was it worth the trouble if any?..

GPX 5000 main unit $1800= $2524AUD control box only
GPX 4500 main unit $1400 = $1963AUD control box only

GPZ 7000 $ 7499 USdollars = $10,515AUD

SDC 2300 $ 2017 = $2828AUD

Plus factor in import duties, insurance, postage & possible warranty issues + they don't ship directly to Australia (need a shipping agent = more cost & risk)

Depar is Minelab's China distributor, here in Aust you can buy a GPZ7000 for A$9,499.00 from today.

Did the calcs and the gpx5000 control box only can be landed at my door $AU3137, not to bad considering I already own a 4500, clip on the box and away I go.
Just check warranty with Minelab - I think they're pretty flexible though compared to others like Garrett.

Central West Prospecting Supplies Mudgee have the GPZ on special now too (as well as GPX5000 & SDC2300 bundles):
GPZ7000 plus Go-Find 60 or GPZ7000 plus Double D bag & control box cover set - either bundle at the New Minelab Promotion Price of $9499
I believe the AUD $9499 price is a Minelab promotion for March only? - that puts the GPZ at $6827USD

You heard it first here folks (Bigwave Nostradamus) re the Zed price drop!
Only AU$1,200 drop though. I thought it would be more! If there was a new model close, I think that it would have been considerably more.
Anyway, you may have saved some cash by holding off for a few weeks - any new buyers want to contribute say 5% of their savings due to my post - no more predictions otherwise ;)

Hi all, not doing much swinging at the moment, just waiting for retirement, but for most of us that enjoy getting out and having a swing it is a bit like fishing. You can go out and spend 50K plus on a boat then thousands on gear and go out looking for that big gamefish or you can pick a dinghy up for 2K and go out and get a feed and be just as happy. Very few prospectors get rich but if you buy what you can afford and get out swinging a 1 gram nugget in your hand makes you feel as good as a fisherman catching a 200 kilo marlin. And you don't have to let it go. I have tried the old Garrets, Whites, Gold Snoop , ML 3500, and now have an ML 500. I have found over 500 small pieces and most with the 3500. But take note I am still working
