Very nice. Why did you buy it? It doesn't look much like it been out there paying for its self.

You would be reluctant?, now why is that?, there is NO safer method than C.O.D, you send the item and i cannot receive it until i pay for it, what method is safer than that?, bank transfers can easily be done over by a scammer that knows what they are doing, and many people have lost their money that way, not for me thanks!

Just for the record folks, to qualify for such a good deal you will need to agree to normal practices by paying for the goods upfront (funds transfer, even cash) before postage or collection. No COD accepted.

This is a really good deal folks, a thousand bucks cheaper than new price for a genuine brand new, unused, never even switched on GPX5000 with documentation and close to 2 years remaining warranty and a lot of extras like ProSwinger harness, Nenads external speakers, Jarrah handle, padded Double D detector bag etc.

I myself always ask for Bank Transfer before sending goods.
Not a lot of folk's will send C.O.D.

Not even ebay sellers will C.O.D.

insurance and cost's also.

If I had to, I would ask for a copy of the buyers drivers license
plus would expect to show mine as well.

That is a very nice buy at that. It will serve it's new owner well. :)

What about Aussie Post COD?
I used it to buy a 2nd hand SDC.
It was shipped from Qld to Vic and I couldnt get it from Aussie Post until I handed over the money.
Aussie Post sent the buyer the money.
The seller provided ample photos including photo of original purchase receipt and Serial Number.
I called the original Minelab dealer who sold the SDC to the seller and had the purchase validated.
It worked well for me.

I found out the hard way that AusPost COD isn't foolproof for the seller. What if the buyer fails to collect the item from their local Post Office? Perhaps they've changed their mind, or bought something else in the meantime, or they've just run out of money. After a couple of weeks the goods are returned to the seller via the originating Post Office, but to collect them they have to pay postage both ways plus all applicable COD charges! I've had it happen to me after an online auction sale and it's a costly lesson to learn.
