So tonight I decide to do some beach detecting and within the first minute of hitting the beach I get a nice loud 30 TID and think oh cool $2 but nope
it turned out to be a Turtle Pendant....Not long after that and only 3 or 4 metres away I hit on two 34 signals close to one another each one was a $1 coin...
In the distance we see fork lightning and the wind was carrying the clouds and the little lightning storm towards us but it was a fair distance away.
10 Minutes later I hit on a 12 TID and think hmmm it doesn't have that pull tab sound and so I scooped the sand up in my beach scoop and hear a ding ding
rattling around in it...Upon looking inside the scoop I see GOLD in the form of a Grill and think nah there is no way this is real......Gave me a real heart stopper
moment and was cool to find but it's only fake I am sure of it...
After 40 minutes I pulled the plug, the wind picked up and I saw everyone that was on the beach watching the light show take off and it was time for us to leave as well....
Better to be safe than sorry, I said to Kiara if you weren't here then I would stay but I can't risk your life.
Always another day...

Hopefully I can get out there early tomorrow morning for a swing before the heat and the thunder storm that is forecast...

Thanks Ktmman, the beaches here aren't too bad and the furthest one I go to is around 25 minutes drive....

I went back this morning and carried on where I left off last night....Had fun and collected a few more goodies before the sun got too hot for me.
Heard this morning on the Radio that a women died and her partner is in Hospital from last nights Lightning Storm.....
So glad I left last night with my baby girl, best to be safe than sorry.

My second ever Triple Strike of 1 cent coins. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Time to fill the cup with lots of coffee...

Thanks Mackka, it's one of the better beaches around this area and usually very clean so the beach cleaner does one day a week
which is usually a Tuesday.....A row of beach huts along this stretch which always produces coins and sometimes pre-decimals....

That's the ones Maccka.....Lots of parties go on and the owner gets a No Alcohol notice even though it's young hooligans or teenagers... :Y:

I had two blokes ask if I find watches and I said nope I haven't come across any as of yet... One bloke said people in that area
wear Rolex's..... :Y:

Cheers mate.... I have my heart set on water detecting that beach, one section a bloke said he pulled out quite a few florins in about
knee high water some time ago...he said there would be more pre-decimals in that section of beach... :Y:
