Another two rings on the Board this time at a local reserve on the high banks...
Got home and sons friend who is a Jeweler had a 14K White Gold ring with 3 Carats of diamonds... and also a Titanium Ring I asked to run the detector over them and both rang in at 12 so now I know.... The Stainless Steel rang in at 9 - 12

Left is Stainless Steel which now adorns my sons finger and the right a junker surf ring I believe...

That Gold one is nice mate....I may take this one to the jewelers and see how much to repair it.....

Sunshine hot then push onto the centre shaft of those old crystal ring trays, that shaft was tapered for re-shaping rings of any size, so I was told in the old days ,... just flip the ring over so you do it from both sides ,.... probly find one of those in a vinnies store now days (maybe). ;)

Did a quick press with a towel and pliers but still want to take it in to be repaired....also gave it a little polish...

So I bit the bullet and paid $35 to have it restored, Jeweler said it won't be as good as it was Brand New but he can do the best he can to make it look good....I am Happy and it didn't cost a thing other than a few hours walking the beaches and parks because I used the finds money....
