you can see the bar in the grass before he digs out that big clump, and places all the dirt over the top to try and conceal it
 
ARHAHA, looks like a 9/16" or 5/8" tungsten steel bar blank for a lathe and a nice one to.
 
looks like someone bought stolen jewellery , melted it down and " found it again "

fancy the odds of that , throwing something on the ground and finding it in all that grass !

and he has sanded it down with emery paper at the end of the video ... who would do that with real gold ?

I call BS, the bar wasn't even embedded in the plug, it was just sitting there underneath it on the ground.
 
In a later vid (after testing?) the finder admits it is not gold. What's seen on the surface BTW, laying at approximately the same angle as the 'find' is a piece of wood (marker perhaps?). My question is, how often do you not hit a long object underground with your spade? The finder manages to miss touching any part of the 'find' while digging it out!
