Hi everyone,
Like it says, I'm out Ballarat/Daylesford way and just starting to have a poke around in hopes of retiring
My son & I have recently picked up a pan and have been scratching up around Daylesford, Sailors Creek finding some little gems and a little flake or two of gold. Heading across to do the same at Slaty Creek in the next few days now that school holidays are upon us.
Everyone's posts have been a fantastic source of info so thanks in advance, wish us luck

Nice little spot over there under the bridge on sailors with easy access. Its the first place I got to see the little red gems which I find rather pretty compared to the mica / blacksand mix at home. Welcome mate
