Friday beach hunt - Sovereign GT vs Excaliber

Hi guys

After Sa_Bogan's gold find yesterday we were excited to have another go at another local beach... And while both detectors did well the Excaliber stumbled on to more treasure...

At six grams Sa_Bogan is pretty close to finding an ounce of gold albeit 9k - however this lovely ring is 15k or so it is stamped!

Of course we also found an array of predecimals and another old spoon

Any spoon identification gurus here?

Well done guys that ring is very nice. It looks like an 18ct ring, what does the stamp say on it?

I think it says 15c and then a hallmark which looks like a masons symbol

spoon is electro plated not full silver just in case you didnt know what the EP stamp was

Was a good day out, also bought a hip mount from miners den today which made my day that much better weight wise
