I think this stuff they are talking about has all the bad stuff taken out that causes psychological impairment,... no high, so thus no paranoia, thus no anxiety, thus no depression,.... then again I could still be wrong, but that's the way the full high stuff works on people(opposite to above), maybe if awareness levels are in top form any differences being experienced that deviate from the norm will be easily recognised.

Not against your comment Nuggetino, just this comment struck me, not sure if sourced or from experience! However I have never ever heard of anyone hallucinating on this ever! but I suppose not being able to be in someones head makes it difficult to deny or dispute these claims. It would not be something I believe you would need to be concerned over. Euphoric and all other effects yes, sure.

There is lots of debate as to what the actual ingredient is that helps in so many cases. In some no THC works in others they need the THC so I am not sure what would be best for your situation.

You may also look at tinctures (liquid) as this is more friendly to lungs and is usually a small does it is also a little longer lasting but also offers a different feeling than smoking and is generally considered heavier at times. Anyone had cookies and cake will know that!

It will not be long and you will be able to have a choice on what you choose for your pain relief, lets face it most modern medicine are prescribing very addictive drugs anyway, so at least let you make the choice which poison you choose! so to speak.

If they had not changed the legislation in America years ago, I am confident there would be a lot more research and public opinion would be so much different.

Finally do not be fooled to thinking you can not be addicted, anything that has an effect on you and in this case perhaps pain relief or being able to eat a little more. You will become reliant on it, or addicted. Not in the sense like a heroin addict but it will have an effect. So do your research. Given the two options and if they both provide similar effects then a decision will be much easier.

Can I make a suggestion, any members reading this who are not sure what the difference is between recreational cannbis use and medical oil .. read the info on the following site .. people making false claims about the effects of it based on what there brothers mates stoner son told them isnt going to help anyone in any way shape or form

Cannabis oil, despite current legal trends has huge medical benefit, something I have seen first hand on a number of occasions from severe pain management to epilepsy siezures to cancer patients that had been given 6 month left to live by their specialists after chemotherapy to 2 yrs later feeling better than they did 10 yrs ago., only problem is as tathradj said .. can get expensive and families struggle with affording it ., as soon as the medical trials are finished here hopefully it becomes a pbs subsidised import

My motivation levels are through the roof all the time! never had time for tv? didnt own one for 10years didnt like what was on it!
Im less Active when the pain/tension/pressure is too much for me.
I used to work, kayak fishing,surf,mt biking, mma/cage fighting. Over time i stopped all of them because i physically couldnt do them anymore the last 4years of work mentally exhausted me trying to block out the pain.
Now my 2 kids under 5 keep me flatout never a dull moment and loving it.
I am very impressed from the support you are all giving. I know its not every ones cup of tea and i appreciate that.
After another restless night i feel like i need to try it.
If it doesnt work than so be it i have just eliminated another drug.
I have never been pain free with prescription drugs i dont expect to be pain free ever but there has to be a better way of dealing with it .....the morph/codi itching is terrible not to mention the drooling and vomiting...im going to the creek today to clear my head..some fresh air flowing water Mmmmmzzzzzzzz

Yeah come on. Its not heroin or ice we are talking about here. Its something that has been used for over 6000 years. All of this paranoia is caused by ppl who have no idea of the facts, and have bought the crap we've been force fed for the last 60 years or so. Now these are the same so called experts who recommended tobacco to be good for you. It does not contain hallucinogenic chemicals, so if you hallucinate it might be the booze or pain killers you had that are legal but have no stigma attached. Calm down. Go take a chill pill( or maybe snag a cpl. Of Billy's) and join the rest of the modern world. Far out I can't believe the comments along the lines of I know someone who had mental issues cos they used pot. Some ppl have issues. And use it. The CBC in it is a anti psychotic. So it actually has the opposite effect to what you ppl say it does. It is being used with much success of in other countries treating mental disorders that it has been blamed for causing. Google it. Research it. Try it if you are so inclined. Then if you feel the same way knock it. But those who have tried it know the benefits of it. As for motivation... I know Doctors and lawyers who use it regularly.

Yeah sorry about that, I get passionate about this as I have seen the good it can do. I don't understand the attitude that it has to be tested like its a new thing or something. The israelis have been researching it as a medicine since the 70's. New research has been conducted in the US and other countries around the world. Based on that research attitudes are changing. Just not fast enough for those who could really benefit.
