Another newbie

Hi all
Just a quick introduction I hope I have placed this in the right area first time on a forum.
My son has had the bug for about a year now and hadn't found a thing until he talked me into taking him to a group dig at deep creek Gympie and we both found gold so now we both have the bug,I'm looking forward to learning heaps from the forum.
