Thanks Goldenred. The bigger bit on the scales was 3.8g and one of the kids has claimed it for a jewelry piece. Should come up nice.

Havent shared in a while for personal reasons but good to see the usual people still posting. All gold was found on private property around Talbot with the 4500 and 12 inch evo coil. Cheers

My largest nugget was found at Talbot about 20 feet off the main road. It was 6 1/2 oz. I found some other decent size nuggets there as well.
Why Oh why do I live in Qld? :argh: (I lived in Ballarat back then)

I had a quick detect on the way through one of the paddocks this arvo and found these 2 trying to hide from the sun. Was supposed to be 45c today but was a bit hotter in the paddock.

I'll be stopping there again sometime. :goldnugget:

Cheers

Fantastic tr :Y: :goldnugget: well done sure is a nice piece to open your account :) I liken the feeling of the first piece to that of obtaining your licence, such a great feeling to know you've achieved your goal :trophy: now all you need to do is just keep your swing steady and don't crash

My first peace was at WA with madtuna :D

Used he's SDC 2300 ....what a great machine to use...

But have found little bit's in my pan...

Goody

Yeh, I always find peace at Erlistoun too because I'd hate to have to go to war against Madtuna. You wouldn't know if he'd shoot you, put you in a freezer or mine shaft or if he only gets a bit annoyed with you he'd probably just hit you over the head with a camel leg.

Back on subject, nice bit of gold there tigersrule. You will always remember your first gold find. :Y:

Cheers

Doug

This is 1 of 2 mounds that must be raked out and detected. I'm glad I don't have any plans for the next 5 years.https://www.prospectingaustralia.com/forum/img/member-images/7222/1580542596_20200127_101511.jpg
