It's pay dirt from Golden Spear Mine (Diggerman60).
I reckon it's probably the best pay dirt on the market, but damn difficult to pan because of its heavy tin content (even worse than iron).
So well done Goody
Morning BigWave - Golden Spear Mine were trying to open up to fossicking - is that correct ? I sent an email several weeks ago but so far no reply .

I am not one to brag, but....

Hey Steve, some nice looking pieces there, not real smooth either. Do you have a detector. The SDC 2300 would pick up most of what you found there. By the way - do you have vanilla beans curing at the moment ?

Thanks Josey, these finds came from directly underneath an old hard rock gold mine, so I guess that explains how rough they are. I do have an SDC2300, but wasn't using it that day, honestly didn't expect to find any pickers.

Vanilla beans??? I'm confused lol

Case of mistaken identity Steve. I know another Steve with surname starting with G. Lives near the Clohesy, Barron junction, grows vanilla and has done a little bit of fossicking around there.

well I'll be damned, was only a matter of time I guess!

If anyones interested I've got 20L buckets full of river wash from out back here, $10 a pop, no guarantee to have gold but sure as hell would have some trout, cod and possibly cray shite in it, great fertiliser

I've also got some country fresh air for sale, $5 for a mid sized ballon full

And if your really keen I'll sell you some cow shite, guaranteed to emit methane, great for starting camp fires

PA members get 20% discount
