The gpz 7000 is probably the best gold detector money can buy. Is it worth the price yes if you learn the machine and swing for 5mths of the year. But in my opinion a gpx4500 with 3 good coils is the better value by approx 5,000. More important is research, be where gold is.

Hi KM, how's the Z performing after minelab sussed it out. Seems to be a few people with little bugs that keep poppin up with the machine. Thinking of selling 4500 and sdc to buy the Z, but seems quite a few are having pain in the but problems with the Z.
