    2nd hunt using MXT

    http://www.ausbuttonhistory.com/?page_id=196 Would have been made around 1900, by Charles Anderson and Co. Ltd , Sydney, for the military. The face looks rusty- tried soaking in olive oil for a few days but could get the brown stuff off. Back of it looks brass. Anyone know how to clean this...

    AH forgot to ask, is wearning a normal belt with a metal buckle likely to cause interference? Hasnt been an issue so far but there will be so much shit on my belt its gonna have to be sturdy

    First real crack with a metal detector in backyard today with an old MXT, found an old piece old copper pipe. At least I can identify, target and dig straight! Notch one up for the killer prospector Tubs:) Big thanks to Ridge Runner for his expert tuition!
