I've been lead too believe Australia has been a Gold source for early Egyptian/Phoenician. A fair few things have been found left behind from them here. Their is also a fair bit of history too it in my own town which is very interesting too me. Apparently traces of gold here have been found in...
Done mate.. Really do hope this does make a movement Len, it just seems very ridiculous and odd too me how different our rules are compared too all other states.. Hopefully enough voices too be heard can make a change.

I will be looking into making own bucket trommel when I find some cheap material too bend up a sluice.. Sort of similar too what I mentioned in the banjo thread, I really want something that can mince up all the clay and feeds the sluice.. I'm sure many love the idea of that, so I'm going too...
I've been panning for a couple of weeks now and got a bit of experience out on the field, so I'm starting too get the hang of getting my dirt out and keeping my gold in at a decent pace too, so I'm feeling confident with my pan... Just the separation is what I need to focus on next, I will check...
Your all good M3.. Nice clean up their! I have only gone through a 1/4 of my bag, so still got plenty too do myself ;) My only problem is getting it out of them annoying black sands.. Using a trick yobskin showed me, but I'm still having problems with it staying in with the black. I might just...
I've even had the thought of making a simple bucket puddler that has a crank handle and blades too mince up the clay and sticky stuff? Then could possibly make it too be an attachment for your equipment, so their will be an exit out of the bucket that only let's material too a certain size out...
Still feel a bit sketchy with my panning angle and speed but have minimal amount falling into my safety pan, just floating bits mostly.. So I know I'm doing okay with keeping with gold and not letting any get away from me ;)
Think I also got a good scoop first that must of settled down a lot...
So after being lucky enough to win Digger Tom's competition, I've been very keen waiting to give some 'Paydirt' a go just too get some more practice done and see what I lose.
Put about a tablespoon full into my pan and started getting it all wet, just after a few swirls i noticed a nice...
I was looking into an older machine, but I'm still a newbie when it comes too detecting and finding any detector alone in my town is a bit of a pain.. So I'm going with the GoFind 40 when It goes on special again.. I really like it's simple easy to use setup, pin point and easy enough to fit in...
I'll bring the right gear next time! Pans don't do so well picking through hard ground, shoveling and holding a lot of dirt :8 I'm still young grasshopper so I've got learning to do haha :D pick Axe, shovel and bucket will be coming with me next time! Seeing color again is enough to keep me...
Big thanks for the help and history mate, learnt some good stuff and had a great day with you and benda for my first meet up loved it! :D I could stand the bush walk but wasn't liking that heat towards the end, but at least the snakes kept away :P Think I might of lost my specs too after...
I'll try get down there tomorrow then for sure! Might need too run into town and get myself a pan upgrade.. Hopefully it's a bit cooler than it was today.. Pheww!

I messaged them through Facebook and they replied saying they will be back in their January catalog, but not a set date they could give me.. So just keep on checking up from now on as they could bring them just before Christmas or after? So they sure are coming back! ;)
Cheers
