Having a talk today about our local optus tower that was being worked on for the last week, apparently they are taking out the deep cycle batteries that power them and replacing with something else (all towers not just this one) might be a chance for ppl to snap up some cheap batteries for campers

While your out that way call into the Woomargama pub and say gday to Brendan and Jackie, there's also an old local that frequents it that has land at Hillend (we didn't find anything there tho)

I've heard stories from different people of shafts in different areas to the west of the ridge not sure if they were test holes or actually got something and my grandfather supposedly had a spot he would get fingernail size pieces gonna try and find it one day, (he had an old whites coinmaster...
