    Advice on a pinpointer

Hi all, I have been reading with interest on pinpointers. Can anyone tell me how small a piece of crap or gold they will detect ? I find it frustrating going through handful after handful of dirt trying to locate a signal only to find it's still in the pile of dirt, and after many more...

Good advice thanx. I have been messing around with all the settings getting used to what they all do. I have been using it at a property ( non gold bearing) but within walking distance to my place. And have learnt a lot already. Have been digging up plenty of rubbish, so at least I've got it...

Hi Mickkat12 I agree the vest is certinaly a str8 jacket, if you don't use one, what do you use? or do you just swing the beeper unaided and carry the pick freehand?

Hi Gravity, Don't know how you do it ! I'm a short arse at 175cm. while it's ok to use I would like it a bit longer. Yes I have it fully extended, if I try to extend any longer the shaft comes apart. I don't know how anyone taller could use this machine. I guess I will get used to it. I also...

Thanx for the advice. Pity Minelab doesn't make an extension. for almost 10k you would think they would have taken into account that not all people are short arses, like me.

Hi I have just joined the forum and hoped someone might be able to help with my inquiry. I'm new to detecting so please bare with me. I've just purchased the gpz7000 and with the shafts fully extended, I find its only barely long enough. Is there an adjustment I don't know about? Or is this the...
