Hi guys, long time reader, first time poster. My fiancé and I are both looking to get some fossicking time this weekend and we’re planning to visit the Dookie Mineralogical Reserve.

I was wondering if we are allowed to fossick there or not? I can’t seem to find any information on the internet about it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

On a quick search https://www.mindat.org/loc-11731.html it seems to be designated a mineralogical reserve by agreement between the Mineralogical Society of Victoria and the Shepparton council.

So you might contact the Mineralogical Society of Victoria for details.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.
