I thought gabben gully may have been a different spot :rolleyes: silly me I blew the code . if that's the case roll ya swag out on the top side of the bridge to avoid the drop bears.
theres cheap camping at the hall if you want hot showers etc , probably 15 klm from the bridge and next door to pub :D

Thinking about heading to Grabben Gullen any good spots to camp and look for gold/sapphires?

There's only one public prospecting area, at the bridge.
People do camp there sometimes ,
If you want toilets and shower you will need to camp at the Grabben Gullen hall which is 15 /20 minutes away
Won't be long and the snakes will be out , I've been there a few times and saw snakes each trip.
Easy to find some saphire colors, possible to find a good saphire, rare to find gold.
 
Snakes are out and scaring the 69er off the Wally

Only saw five feet of it, the rest of the midnight black scales were in the ten foot wide blackberry bush. I guess it was munching down on a six foot brown snake at the time. :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh:
