Hmm, thanks for that helpful advice. I thought however the WTB section was to assist members buy and sell between themselves rather than directing to go buy from a Minelab store.

My apologies for misunderstanding...

And you think telling someone to go to a shop to buy one is helpful? Really?

Sorry, but I didn’t. In fact, I found the comment to be condescending, patronizing and totally unnecessary...

Oh for goodness sake!

I’m sorry that I even made a post now.

Here I was thinking that someone might have a Nox that they might be interested in parting with and that the WTB section might be the right place to ask.

I’m no stranger to the concept of attending a store to buy something, so not sure how that was helpful, particularly the wink which suggests sarcasm.

And the comment that’s what “we” do here then suggests that I’m not part of the “we”, but noting I seem to be the only financial member posting so far.

Moderator, please remove this entire thread and I’ll think twice before posting here again in the future

Cheers

C'mon guys, Rolex put up a reasonable post and gets jumped on with dumb answers. Of course he knew where to get them from shops but tried here.

If you don't have a 2nd hand 1 for sale or know of 1 pull you heads in and don't comment mad

Dear all,

At the end of the day, and disregarding the various unhelpful posts, I'm simply looking to buy an Equinox 800 and thought that placing an add here might allow me to buy from one of the reputable members here on this terrific forum.

I have a number of machines - all of which I am still very much learning to use. Like most here, I am very familiar with the inside of the shops of many Minelab distributors and am on first name basis with some of those who work within them.

So I didn't expect to be told to go to a shop rather than posting in the WTB section.

Although I am not a prolific poster, I've been a member here since 2016 and have found the wealth of information invaluable and want to thank all who contribute positively to such. It is for this reason that I financially contribute to the running of this forum and I'm disappointed that I have been ridiculed for such.

If there are any members out there who might be thinking of parting with their 800, it would be great to hear from you.

Thanks
