I was very lucky they found me!
Luck plays a part in the gold but the main key is research. Know your geology and you will be rewarded.

Thanks mate,
Can't wait to get in there again and grid it off. Never turned the 45 back on after i found it.
I was too concerned with finding my way back.
Are you and the missus coming up for the Australia day bash?

Cheers
YF

Unfortunately that is her weekend on, we are up there the weekend before and after.
We have no control on those times.

I'm packed and leaving within the hour.
Might be spending more time in the boat then behind a detector this trip.

I tried swinging this morning but it was too hot and the flies were out enmasse. A Bull Ant also gave me a "kiss"...twice, on the ankle. Gave up after an hour.
Just wasn't very enjoyable today.

Hi Patrick1, bad luck about today. Me and the hub are going out to Talbot after dinner this eve, hope all the critters have settled down for the night and hope to find some pretty shiny gold. Those ant bites will be as itchy as hell for a week or so, don't scratch at them :|
