The NSW buyer agreed to Minelab in Mitchan acting as a 3rd party, inspecting the Zed, testing its operation and assuring that all was above board and to packing and shipping to NSW on notification of funds transfer.

I'm surprised why they don't sell stuff on consignment, it would provide a lot of confidence from buyers, win win for all concerned.
Buyer knows it's a legit product and works fine, seller sells it more easily due to previous points, and dealers get a cut.
Only downside is the seller cops the dealer fee.
