Out 'n' About With The CTX3030

After a rather cold ,4 hour snooze, in my car ,
i met up with a few of the local fellas for a group hunt this morning
Well after his silverless hunt in Sydney,Rocket made up for it today with a decent tally and a couple of early ones too
My day started rather slow ... my first few thrippies turned out to be just 1c's
Then i hit a bit of a patch ... and the pre decs started to appear
The first of which isnt really a coin, but a gaming token
1791 George III , copy of a gold half guinea
Ive tried and tried but cant get a clear picture( Ramjet took a pretty good photo though)
The tube/stick items are apparently an old type of matches

Google info says these things are made of brass, but this sure does seem to be silver

These two are in pretty good condition

Great results Sandta. Thanks so much for showing up after night shift. Those little silvers are so CRISP. Find of the day was Sandta's "Gaming Token" from 1791. Here are my pics of it.

Ive been chasing up a few more permission sites lately
Yesterday arvo i went to one not too far from home for a first scout around
My research tells me this place has mid 1800's history

A couple of fancy(ish) bits of scrap and old padlocks are pretty cool
The 2 silvers were found in the dark while trying to find my way back to the car (in the dark ... glad there was a bit of moon)

I think this could be a lead seal.
It does have detail on it but i cant figure out what it is or even which way around its supposed to be


Most of the pennys are really toasted (as per usual)
The early english ones tend to fair a little better than ours

So close ... yet so far
