What made me smile today

The fact that our eldest grandson has been cancer free for 5 years and he is travelling the country for a year with his family.
I may have also shed a tear or 2.

Our first grandchild, Honour arrived in the world last night, 4 weeks prem but all is well, both mum and bubs are doing well.
6lb 8oz of pure joy and I have to say it more precious than gold. Lorraine was their for the birth and this has put a pep in her step.

Congrats Manpa. Must be a great feeling. You and Lorraine needed something like this to brighten everything up.

I teared up, I remember my girls, never missed a birth and it is just the 'world' to be there, a moment that cannot be beaten.

The grandparent duties have started already, shuffling cars around with SAMs partner and collecting the dog to babysit her overnight.

I said I'd rather we babysat Honour but we've had to settle for the dog.

Couple of extra happy snaps, Ma n bubs and Honour contented after a feed

Look at that tiny little person! Just beautiful! She made me smile.
