Bugga! Some spots are very challenging and I'm sure there's stuff to find there but it may take some playing with settings or taking the modern surface layer off to find it.

DSA if you are not the first on the scene, I doubt there is anything left, unfortunately.
Mackka :/

According to the homeowner whos been there 30 years I was! Problem was that there was an unbelievable amount of trash in the ground, even high conductive targets, and I mean an unbelievable amount. More than I had ever seen anywhere else!
I ground balanced, no canceled, they were all targets it wasnt some sort of mineralisation effect. Every swing with the detector I picked up at least 10 targets

I notched out upto 20 on the nox, usually id never do that but I had to to make it somewhat detectable. I dont know what they did to that ground but the sheer amount of aluminium scrap, screws and bottle tops was unbelievable.

I pulled up, and Im not joking 23 whole flatted drink cans with the old style pull tabs, brands Id never seen before haha!

It was tough digging too, it was like 10cm on nice soft soil, then like compacted gravel type ground.

I cant comment on the old town hall, thats public land so likely detected before!

I hope you detected the walls themselves down there DSA :Y:

Would probably be worth sieving if youre the first there, the good stuff would be there in amongst it all.

Thought did cross my mind, Ive never done it but Ive seen it done.

If it was my property Id be knocking up a screen but since it was a permission, just isnt practical.

Owell, if I can manage it Ill be going out for a short hunt today to hopefully make up for the disappointment of yesterday! But hey, thats the game!

Popped out for 2.5 hours today for hunt #47, went back to the place Ive been pulling the silvers but no luck today!

Heres the lot minus the trash:

Im itching to get back to the beach, with the beach there is no worrying about is the place old enough, is it hinted out now etc etc its all about the luck of the tides and sand movement!

Shame I live 50km from the coast

Until next time :Y:

Tried a new little park with a totlot for hunt #48

Not very successful, this is my pay for 2.5hours work. Not the best hourly rate:

I was hoping the little st Christopher was goin to be silver, unfortunately cant see any markings!

On the upside, the headphones were fantastic, my first wireless headphones. Great, cant fault them at all!

My detecting half century is comming up, got to find a new spot with some potential for that!

Cheers

Where did you get the headphones from, please, only place I could find was in USA, interested in a set for the wife who keeps trying to stretch the wire when she puts the detector down on the ground.
