gold prospecting location sites in nsw area

hi ev1 I'm getting back into prospecting after many yrs with kiddies all grown up now and wanting some locations in nsw to go after some gold . Recently went out to orange and prospected at Ophir gold mines but no good finds but wow what a place so much to see great mines to explore and wild life everywhere.
so what I'm looking for is so places to hunt for gold nuggets detecting and panning manly and areas to go. I'm from Newcastle area and thinking of going to Nundle next trip and would love some spots to prospect and if anyone has some info I WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECIATE IT
