Managed a short dig down the track....the area I found the Half Penny and said I'd check out again was full of trash and brownies....more trash than good targets so I moved onto another section, not a lot on offer so Kiara and I decided to go home with one stop off, an area I had done before but this time I was going to sweep it good.
Glad I did because I got a half penny and a penny sunbaking....I really wanted a Silver and hit a nice 24, I just knew it was a Threepence the moment I started digging and when I ran the detector over it was out of the hole....So I collected the dirt and it fell out right in front of me....
Glad the Silver drought is over...

Looks like I'll be going further afield to find some new ground...

Could be from a bed but with the point on it I'd say a fence :Y:

Yup that's what it is, I don't know why I said Scabbard...lol Must have had Knives and Swords on my mind.. :Y:

lol Yeah mate I said the exact same thing, who knows what will come out of that track... They're widening it by the look of the paint trails and have already started planting and barking new areas....I may get some new spots if they start clearing out dead trees.... :Y:

Oh B5 I found out that the (pictured scabbard) is actually a Fluer de le from scouts flag pole... Could be a good area to hit hard considering there is a lot of area which I can wing the coil without hitting dead trees and tall grass..

Yeah the token was a nice find but that Silver had me smiling big time....Scored a Ram shilling as well which is getting a soak in Salt and Vinegar...

So while dinner was cooking I quickly went around the corner to a park which has been active since the early 1900s, although you can't detect inside the park you can detect the Outer fence which is mostly Barked Gardens....

Some strange and interesting items, not a lot on offer which was a bit sad but I did manage another silver.....As soon as I had that I came home and dinner was done.











Forecast is for rain which is why I went for a quicky and it will be a few days before I am heading out again to a new spot.
