Finally got in a short dig this morning trying out a new spot, I will be going back to hit another area to see where the goodies are....I have a friend that has picked up 1800s Silver and Pennies from the area but he never gave me a general idea of where but that's okay I can have a look see anyway. :)

This last one is dated between 1918 - 1934 so there is some age to it.

I went for a scout finally to the park around the corner from home, I hit this spot before and found a 1951 Roo Penny and today decided to do an area which has some nice old trees. Within 5 metres of parking the car I hit my first signal only 4 inches deep which is a 1947 roo....only metres away I hit 3 signals each of them 36 Tid on the 705.
The first one was a 2c coin the second one a 1c coin and the third which was a shock a nice black Ram Shilling....I only swung about 15 - 20 minutes because it grew dark fast and the lightning started up.
I told my baby Golddiggergirl one more signal and so within the next 2 minutes I hit a loud crisp 42 Tid only 2 inches deep....I could feel it in my hand with the dirt and it was the size of a sixpence but to my surprise it was a ring a ding ding.... And yes it is Silver with a few new hall-markings I have never seen before.
It fits GDGirls finger so I let her have it.
