I have not been game to try it in Sport mode.
The video's of one in action was enough to make
me stop and think about it.
There were too many tree's around to do it.
I will remember that one. :Y: :Y:

I do not have the prang video as I was not recording when it happened.
My Mate would not like his house put up for public display.
I will get some footage of Tathra when I am back in action. :D :Y: :Y:

Was this your reaction doug :D ]:D

Nooooo, ;)
More like standing there with a funny look on my face. 8)
Like WTF happened there. ?
The only power cable 5/8th of an inch thick and I hit it.
It was hard to see in around the trees but I should have been aware
of it. :|

I have a raptor 50 Helicopter in the shed that I have have flown
before.
It was too dangerous. I was going to fit it out with a long range
camera but gave up on the idea as it also was too noisy.
it cost $3500.00 all up.

Don't know how long ago you bought it, but just WOW!!!...and it was never a platform for camera work anyway....at least not without another cpl grand for decent gimbal...most struggle on electric platforms due to the induced vibrations, nitro only makes it worse.

They were the go to trainer back in the day, before micro's and sims....

Bought it back in 2006.
No Mucking around.
I used Futaba 400 meg PCM Radio's and upgraded the swash plate and control arms to alloy,
Also modified the tail rotor to the same standard.
Fitted with a gyro that was top of the line.
I also used carbon fiber for the main rotors and tail as well.
Lot of work went into it.
I used the standard white plastic covered wooden rotors to begin with
but after a spectacular event where the plastic stripped off in flight, I went carbon fiber.
Chaff every where. LOL
Man that thing could go.
After a few close shaves that could have been very nasty, I stopped flying it.
One of them was I had bought it in for a landing and had it hovering while I checked
the blades for alignment, A freaking bird hit it. Did not knock it out of the air but It
slewed sideways at me and missed me by a meter.
I will not state what it did to the bird as it was running nearly full throttle with no collective.
You could not see the blades turning at that speed.

Oh i'm aware lol...no painted'lines' needed..how many pillows?... :D ]:D

From new i can understand, i was thinking it was more recent....like most hobbies, in RC your limit is only as low as the balance in your wallet...

Yeah, The explosion of feathers was enough to make a Crow gape in awe. 8)
I seen it coming but did not have enough time to wack a bit of collective in.
I think it was a small Wren but it was enough to cause the Chopper to side slip.
Just imagine what a thin sharp blade turning at 2000 Revs is like.
All I heard was SMACK.
And a rather obvious explosion of feathers.
Not to mention the bits of fodder flying out.
At least it would have been painless.

LOL,
The aftermath was worse than that one. 8)
Plucked, Gutted, Skinned, Boned and Minced all
in one go. :8

We need a shirt just like that for metal detecting... :)

Yes it is a metal detector.
Yes it finds gold and jewellery.
Yes it will pick up a $1 coin at 1 foot.
No it does not detect gemstones.
Yes I do very well with it.
Yes it was expensive.
No you can not have one of my $2 coins.
Yes I have coins in my finds pouch/bucket
No you can't have a go

Love that shirt Rod.

I have noticed that DJI have and are going to release forced updates
on META Data to constantly update the no fly zones.

Just wondering what the best choice of tablet would be for a Mavic Pro, and what basic features it needs to fully use the drones capabilities (WiFi, GPS etc)?

Cheers,
JD
