Cheers guys, should be some interesting history behind the finds;

Did a bit of research on one of the tags today, one gent enlisted and did a 12month Europe tour, was discharged and re-enlisted for the Pacific.

Am a bit time poor ATM but will try to get some back stories rolling.

Nice work Wally69. If you have a service number on the tag or a name look them up on the nominal rolls sites. You can in most cases find the actual unit they served in.
 
Chain snaps and they fall off more then likely around some type of physical activity area
IE hand to hand combat or something like that
We used to drop them all the time that is why we changed oursto nylon cord
 
Devastating Wally.You would have a few spares there if thinking of buying another 705.Shafts and armrest etc.
