Would appreciate your thoughts, this one of 5 slabs that I split. Promising or not?

Promising - yes. Can gold be seen for sure - no. The only sure way would be to crush and pan.
If that's the freshly split face of gold-bearing ore, you'd hope to see some obvious traces of bright, shiny gold, but unfortunately none are visible. Very fine gold may still be present, hidden in some of the darker minerals, but as Hawkear says above, you'll need to crush the rock to powder and pan it to have a chance of seeing that gold.
Run a detector over it, if you get a positive signal, keep going with a dolly pot then sieve
