BULLETIN: 14/2020
INFORMATION FOR CARAVAN PARK AND CAMPING GROUND OWNERS AND OPERATORS ON CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
At the direction of the Chief Health Officer Victoria campsites, caravan parks and camping grounds will now be closed to visitors.
This will be effective from 11.59pm (local time) 25 March 2020. The only people permitted to remain will be:

People who already have the caravan park registered as their primary place of residence;
and
People staying in caravan parks as interim accommodation where their primary residence is not available (including those of no fixed address and people placed in
emergency housing by DHHS).

Vic Parks have clarified that the following may stay as well:

grey nomads who either do not have a permanent place of residence or are travelling and unable to get
home. Parks may also open to workers whose primary residence is not available due to the distance between home and
the work site.
 
Qld government has announced closure of all government owned campsites, caravan sites and national parks and state forests.

No word yet on privately owned and operated van parks.

Qld has also closed border with NSW, SA and NT and has advised of $13000 fines for breaches of border movement.

Qld Premier has said that residents of other states are not to come here to QLD for holidays.
