vibra-flow feeder

Anyone ever seen a dry sluice, either for gold or sapphires etc ? Picked up this old "vibra-flow parts feeder today and dont think it would take much modification for it to hold onto some goodies. Thinking a cross between a shaker table and a walbanker but without water if possible
