G'day Silver, I'm still waiting for the garden bed maker as he can't get supplies if the hi tensile metal used for the sides of the "U" shaped raised bed......
You're making me jealous. :( :)

Luckily jealous is as jealous does Jaros.... so you should end up with a great veggie patch mate

I hope so mate. I grew up eating home grown veg. where my father used to go fishing and catching heaps of Carp. He chopped them up and laid the beds with fish bits and grew the best Cauli and Cabbage and Silverbeet etc the quality you would never buy at a greengrocer. Our house in Noble Park Vic. was beside the now defunct Yarraman Creek-it's in pipes now. Great market garden soil.

I knew an old bloke that netted mullet, and minced them up for chook feed.... my problem would be not being a good enough fisherman.

(Bugga... should I be saying fisherperson nowadays.....not) :p

Just saying, I looked up that asparagus can be harvested for 10 weeks. So I'm going to extend my harvest time from beginning of August right out to mid October, but I'm letting all the smalls that are coming up go to fern. I don't mind eating it for an extra two weeks, some of the little seeds I dropped in(and others that fell by themselves) must be coming up now too, will see how it goes and edit in a photo soon from the old phone. :D

Thank goodness ya don't need a sim card to access wifi from an old phone (they clipped my sim card to make it a nano card) cause my old card won't ever fit back in. But it can still take photo's and access the net. :D

Ta-daaaa !

My lettuce are going nuts, the new Black Russian Tomatoes have flowers on them and the Coriander has gone to flower and seed. Silver can i take the green seeds, put them into an envelope and they will dry out or will they go moldy?
Cheers
Mackka

Mackka I have the weed blanket and the wire to confine the bed from possums etc. I will also spread a screen across the top. The builder is still waiting for supplies of hi tensile corrugated iron for the walls.
Tic, tic, tick.
