Thanks Silver and nucopia, ihave never grown them before and now i probably wont grow any other tomato. There flavour is unbelieveable. Still have more on the vine which is about 6 tall and stalk is 1 round. I only bought 1 seedling and very happy with the result.

Here are 6 of the snow peas starting to climb ..have another 20 spread out around the garden ,some like this and some not as advanced..but they all seem healthy

Pak Choi ,we have been harvesting them as they mature and transplanting seedlings from the portable green house.
You can see the Carrots in there as well ..some are really thriving and some are slow to grow no idea why

Your broccoli has bolted nucopia.... you can dip them in batter and deep fry them.
I think they call them brocolinie when they bolt like that (a matketing ploy to still pull a sale)

Making me envious silver. I am trying to grow a coffee plant down here in the cold but I probably shouldnt bother. Did manage to get an advocado from one of the larger trees this year though.

hopefully this one will hang on long enough to fatten up.

I can only wish I had an avocado on my tree Goldfreak(one day perhaps... seedlings can take a while to learn their trade, and even then they need practice to get good at it too).

Speaking of seedlings, if that avocado of yours fattens up and produces a viable seed.... that seed will be aclimatised more so for your area where it was produced (I'd plant it for sure myself).

I will try that Silver. Good idea. Have thought about setting an acre aside just to grow random seedlings of sub tropicals in our climate and seeing if I get any lucky cold tolorant fruit producing mutations. It means tying up some land for 10 years or so though.

My dad used to pickle olives and my mom used to pickle and preserve other veggies..
Its a shame Pickling and preserving is becoming a lost art.
Well done Teemore :perfect:

My father used to brew blackberries/pickles in a big vat under the house. I used to enter the area with a cup or whatever and check the beverage on a daily basis and I was 12 yrs old.
Love pickling.

Well.... couple of old trees down and recycled into the orchard tree's.

Pak Choi; we have been picking them when ever they become big enough and then planting more seedlings ..
1629431488_image.jpg

Getting a few snow peas appearing even through the plants them selves are small ..
1629431664_image.jpg

Tomatoes are flowering and bearing small fruit, I think due to being in a medium sized pot. Probably should have planted them in a bigger pot but didnt have one at the time ..

Kits are healthy, still spending most of the time in the nest sleeping but they now have a fine coat of fur and are beginning to open their eyes and move around a little bit..
