Nice finds Silver

My parents both had Vespas in the 60's and roved up and down the north coast of NSW and up into Qld with a big club back then.

I had fond memories of the scooters as a child as they were rusting away in a shed and I used to hide my matchbox cars in the various compartments. They also produced some monster redback spiders for my bug catcher.

I must be getting a bit fitter, having hunts like these ,.... better pace myself a bit so I don't burn out (ha).
I remember one of my old school mates on a farm having a vespa to ride, he used it for going down to milk the cows on those cool winter mornings. I liked staying at his place on the weekends sometimes, was peaceful country lifestyle at its best ,.... as a city dweller, heading out to the fringes was an eye opener. I have always appreciated being given that opportunity in life ,... that childhood freedom to feel like your running amok, yet all your doing is indulging in a differring lifestyle and the alternative learning paths it involves.
:Y: :p

I see you got your silver fix for the day, I wonder what the coin was attached to?? :)
I've seen serviette holders made from cut down bits of 40ml (roundabouts) casings with foreign coins attached (trench art). I sold one I had to a dealer once ,..... I had cut through the back of it as an adolescent to use it as an arm ornament while growing up (the things we do hey). :D (both the cutting and the selling)

Fit as a fiddle  (so much pain I'm gunna soak in epsom salts soon ktmman) :Y:

And a day ain't a day unless that silver pops Gp ,.... with all my might I strive my wit toward it :)
