G'day

Thanks for the replies. Jim, the finny is not much good on sub grams with the standard DD but I was getting .1-.2g with the little 3x7DD (shallow) and suspect it would go ok with the 8" mono. Some targets were just repeatable threshold warbles and if I had the budget (Mrs Chimpy's permission :8 ) I would be going for a new minelab as my mates had a much easier time pulling nugs. It eats mineralization for breakfast and is great to just switch and go. The real learning curve is the language it speaks and I'm just starting to get my ear tuned to its subtleties. Very happy with it overall and once I've done some mods I intend to keep it in my arsenal. I just got to Hill End for a few days on some bigger bits so I'll let you know how it performs

Cheers

Chimpy
