Tesoro Vaquero

Hi guys. My names Scott'O'. Was wondering whether anyone has had any experience with the Tesoro Vaquero as a point and shoot detector in and around the gold fields. The reason I ask is, I got my girlfriend a Teknetics G2 and as capable of a machine as it is, she has trouble getting her head around it all and now thinks she just wants a turn on and go, beep type of detector. Also, she is only small so weight is a big factor. Cheers.

Welcome ScottO, some one around here will have experience with what you want to know, try doing a search on the forum for those two machines and see what you come up with.

There's a few members that run tesoro's I have only used the Silver max and it seemed like a easy machine for the money.
