We have had a very slow start to the year and only got down to the beach for 15 minutes before a rain deluge but managed to find this ....

Thought it was a junker but for my first target of the day I thought not bad ... Later Sa Bogan gave it a clean ...

Lo and behold a silver Pandora not that I could see any markings ...

Need some stormy weather ... Let's see what 2016 brings!

Pretty petite ring, it a wonder it didn't get bent up at all, nice find.

Wasn't much fun last time I went down detecting the Adelaide beaches, with lots of sand pushed up on to the beach. The councils need to give the sand replenishment a rest for a while. ;)

I was down the other night at low tide and the sand was so deep at the mid tide line that it was like quick sand in parts. Needless to say pickings were slim...

I would have been pretty happy with that ring I have to say though.

Nice one, I found one of those pandora birthstone rings too, looks like the Aquamarine one? I got a Moonstone one. :D Great to see team Bogan back in action.

Team Bogan was back on the hunt tonight ... Down the beach and SA Bogan had a new detector to test out ... A PI detector .... whites sea master I think ... And here are the finds....

There has been little wave action with no storms and the beach was fairly clean of targets ... The PI was great at finding all the sparklers and junk from New Years Eve (no descrimination) while allowing the Sovereign to cherry pick the bottle caps and a couple of modern coins ... A key ...and just when I thought we were done for the evening ... This ...

Gold baby!

Nice one guys, about time the Adelaide beaches provided you with some of the gold stuff, well done. Here's hoping for a very stormy winter. ;)

Much nicer than my toy car find on the beach this morning,... nice looking gold fellas. :p :D

Tonight I went out to the beach as the lone wolf (nobody wanted to come out) and here are the finds ....

Plenty of bottle tops and that was about it! The goggles were sun bakers I am sure the grand daughter can enjoy.

No coins but did get a couple pieces of jewellery which is my preferred targets but no gold ..

A junker ring and a pendant which I hope is silver ... Better luck next time

The dreaded toe ring, seems to be one of the most commonly lost jewellery items on the beach, nice design for a change over the plain bands. The pendant definitely looks silver, any hallmarks on it Paul? Mr Bogan must be holding off for the 1 in a 100 year storm. ;)

No markings unfortunately ... SA is always working!

He needs to get that CTX pumped up and hit the beach, all work and no play is not a good thing. Certainly can't complain about the weather up that way, I really miss having a lazy wander down the beach on those warm balmy nights. ;)
