Sd2100 no sound

Got an old sd2100 if the battery warning light is flashing is it normal to have no sound coming from headphones with coil movement etc thanks

Start by charging the battery. If the warning light doesn't go away then it is probably stuffed. Can't remember if it will affect the sound but it might, depending on how low the voltage is.
If you are close by to Mount Waverley in Victoria then I could check it for you with another battery. Other than that there might be a loose or broken wire in the cable or control box.
