Awesome stuff well done , what state , WA ?

love the pics of the critters , id have as much fun hunting them and getting pics as hunting the gold .

congrats on your finds , what was the total weight of all found ? Knowing too that there is some debris mixed in with the good stuff .

Thank you all :) sorry yes I forgot to mention that in my post, so the total weight is 94 grams plus few little species ( 2 or 3 grams of gold I reckon ), and all of that is WA gold ;)

And I also picked up about 200 hot rocks, I can't wait to crush them and see what else I can find :p

Great result Gasco29 :Y: now your memories will forever will you to do it again :Y:. One day I intend making similar memories just not sure which year yet  it'll happen though.

Wow Gasco,

Great trip eh!?
You'll have to change your byline now....no longer a 'future prospector'. You been there, done that! ;) :Y:

That's a great bag. I'd ask you where you went so I don't bother. Looks like you cleaned your patches well lol

And nice pics. Nothing like the great outdoors

Love the species and the differences between the smooth and rough gold. I suspect l would have spent half the trip looking for where that rough gold came from.

Does anyone know what sort of lizard is in the photo? I've never seen one like that, but then lve never had the chance to go to WA yet.

Nice photos too , .. would'a been a dream trip !
:Y: O:) :Y:
:rainbow: O:) :rainbow:

Great haul gasco. There seems to be a fair bit of ground cover at the moment. It might be worth revisiting the same area after it drys off over the summer.

Hi Matt, it's a Pebble Dragon.
You never see them until they move and as soon as they stop you have a hard time finding them again.

Thank you for all your comments :)
Today was the payday, I sold some of my gold and the gold from my first patch after test was more than 99% pure, which happen not often at all the seller said.
Unfortunately the gold from my last patch was much less pure than expected, only 90%, there was a lot of silver in it.

The goanna on the photo actually gave me a little patch  he was sitting just under a little bush and to let him move I Swung my coil next to him and "bung", I had a signal, there was the first nugget off a little patch :D ( 12 nuggets )
I took a video of that recovery lol

And yes I can't wait to have a very heavy rain to washout all the dirt and the summer to get the bushes dry to be able to put the coil closer to the ground :)

Happy detecting everybody ;)
